This property is just beautiful! The 50' beach is sandy, and there is a stream that runs year-round down to the water.
The camp has 2 bedrooms and 1bathroom and all but the bathroom are knotty pine. One bedroom has a queen size bed and the other has a double bed. There is a screened-in porch on the front of the camp and a deck on the side.
(My applogies that I do not have better pictures of the interior of the camp. We are not local and have decided to rent the camp after we left for the season. Better pictures are not available at this time, but you may schedule a time to look at the camp in person.)
The camp is conveniently located just a few miles from "4-corners" in Edinburg (where among other things you will find a corner store and a diner).
What's Included:
+ A fully furnished cabin - complete with outdoor furniture, and a gas grill.
+ Phone service (sorry, no cable tv)
+ Full size fireplace in the yard.
+ Very private sandy beach w/ 50' of footage. The neighboring beach rights on one side have been unoccupied (vacant land), and the neighbor on the other side has close to 200' of beach frontage.
+ Boat mooring, row boat, & a few water toys (floating lawnchair, blow up boat)
What's not included:
+ Bedding - sheets, blankets, pillows or towels.
+ Use of the indoor wood stove. This stove is NOT fuctional, so please do not try and light a fire!!!
Your call:
+ Drinking water - There is sediment in the water and I don't drink it out of the tap. It's not that it is unsafe, it's just not so appealing visually. There is a 5 gallon water hot/cold water dispenser in the camp, but how much of that 5 gallons will be there when you arrive, I can't say for sure. You may want to bring your own drinking water.
Since we have owned this camp, it has not been a rental so most dates are available.

"Housekeeping" Details:
+ Leave it as you found it :) Since there is not a cleaning service, each guest has the responsibility of cleaning the camp prior to their departure. This includes dishes, floors, the bathroom, etc.
+ Pack it in - take it out :) Please plan on hauling out your trash. Garbage cannot be left on the premises - even at the end of the driveway for pick up.
+ Weekly rentals run Saturday at noon through the following Saturday at 10:00 a.m.
+ The folks who own the place next door are a quiet, retired couple. If you are looking to do late night partying, you will do better to look elsewhere.
+ Upon your request I will reserve the camp in your name.
A deposit of $100 is due within 2 weeks of reserving the camp or the reservation will be canceled. If you need to cancel your reservation, this deposit is fully refundable if you cancel at least 30 days prior to your reservation date. This $100 will be held as a security deposit and returned to you via mail promptly once your stay has ended provided no damages have been done to the camp.
Payment for the rental in full is due no later than 30 days prior to your reservation date.
